Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American actor and singer from the United States. She was awarded the best actress award for her performances in Nashville in the 2012 drama in which she played Layla Grant. She also was awarded the prize in Sharknado 2013, where she was Claudia Shepard. In 2015, she was in her role as Jerrica Jem in the film Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples was raised in Lake Mary in Florida with the parents Wendy as well as Ashley. She has a sister named Ally. Aubrey spent ten seasons performing in the Orlando Repertory Theatre. The valedictory speech she delivered was that of her class during her time at Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University was willing to admit her. She declined the offer twice. The second time it was due to her desire to play in Nashville. Peeples was a character in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2012) Grey's Anatomy (2005). The actress appeared on TV on Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective 2009 and The Good Mother. She was a major player for the Nashville series, where she was Layla Grant. Peeples talked about her bipolar condition in an interview for NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples among the best actors younger than twenty in September 2014.
